Then of course is the cartoon-like ‘bump’, as the meal wends its way down the snake’s length to its stomach. Amazing stuff to witness. Of course my dear friend Martin Waugh was unimpressed, and suggested I should have been there to photograph the snake catching the hummingbird. Some folks are just hard to please, I guess.
