When I got back ‘in-situ’, the hummingbird was already well on its way down the snake’s throat, but I managed to capture a few not very good images of the process. I cannot describe how thick the brush was, and how difficult it was to bend over and get in there with a camera and flash unit, but considering the rush, the images are at least interesting.
