The precursor to the Shutterbeam, and much simpler. It was the mainstay of remote triggers through the late 70’s and 80’s in the US, and is/was often quoted as the method used for nocturnal mammal shots in the many wildlife publications of that era. I believe it was developed by or for Bruce Dale, but I have not confirmed this.
